1. Grab a leash
  2. Door knock around the area where found the dog was found
  3. If you can’t find the owner, take the animal to a local vet within 72 hours. The vet will scan for the microchip and contact the owner
  4. If it is out of hours, contact SASH on 02 9889 0289 or NEVS on 02 9452 2933
  5. You can also search local Facebook groups eg. Hornsby Lost & Found. Owners may have posted a picture of their lost pet
